About Studio Annette

Hi, I'm Laurie, founder of Studio Annette !

I started creating with acrylic resin in 2020 and couldn't stop experimenting and making stuff since ! I get inspired by everything that surrounds me. 

I've always been drawn to the 50's and 60's aesthetics and I love everything vintage and mid-century, floral and botanical designs, soft pastel and retro color palettes, curved and rounded shapes, but also naïve and clumsy designs and I like to mix them all !

I'm definitely an introvert so being able to be creative, make stuff and do this all from home is the best ! I design and make all pieces in my small home studio in La Rochelle, France.

I named the studio after my grandmother as a tribute to my childhood when creativity and imagination have no limit. It made so much sense, especially at the time I started this new chapter. That creative urge was left aside for too long so I decided to go back to fundamentals and bring the "real and true me" to life ! And it makes me so fulfilled.
